Following on from Monday's blog, Jacqui now has some good news regarding the frame...

We have finally agreed with the council to lift the frame into place on December 21st.  The shortest day of the year…  At least it won’t be an early start its not really light till 8 o’clock.

Its very inconvenient for me I supposed to be having my hair done at 9, I doubt I’ll get another appointment before Christmas...  And I have a party to go to on the Tuesday evening.

I would have liked to do it sooner it doesn’t give us much scope before Christmas to fix anything that might go wrong  but it should be straight forward.  I just hope the crane can lift the frame panels between the 2 large trees.

I glad it will be in place over Christmas I be able to spend time in the rooms and maybe get a clearer idea of where electric sockets might go.  I have a rough plan already that the electricians quoted against months ago  but I can get them back to really refine their estimates.  I’ll also be able to decide the best location and size for the radiator I decided to have in the gallery instead of the underfloor heating.
