ADM Systems, one of the leaders in air management, supplied 17 energy efficient heat recovery systems for the development, 'Wentworth Mews' based in Ackworth near Wakefield.

Heat recovery systems improve thermal performance of a dwelling because a dwelling can lose up to 40 per cent of its heat through opened windows, extractor fans and trickle ventilators. ADM's system works by using heat generated within the home to pre-heat fresh air from the outside during winter, and pre-cool it during the summer, which is then released as fresh air back into the room.

The atmosphere is fresh and never feels stuffy, we don't think about needing to open the windows at all!"
