UniChiller is installed outside and comes fully charged for life with a sealed refrigerant circuit. All hazardous gases are kept away from the building and installation does not require qualified refrigeration engineers. Only water is pumped to and from the building for a safe and simple operation.
More efficient than conventional systems and similarly priced heat pumps, UniChiller illustrates Unico's green credentials and offers the user a COP (coefficient of performance) of a remarkable 3.5 or better under normal operating circumstances. Consequently, the installation pays for itself and its long life with low maintenance mean that UniChiller can payback several times.
The side-venting design and careful attention to detail ensures long, trouble-free life. The pump is made from stainless steel, fans are swept for low noise and efficiency and weathering is kept to a minimum. No maintenance is necessary for the refrigeration circuit and all components are mounted for easy access in a small-footprint system box.
The clever reverse cycle design provides efficiency for both heating and cooling phases. More than twice the input energy can be maintained for central heating and air conditioning applications, saving more than half the peak costs of boiler-based systems. Sized for large houses or small commercial applications, UniChiller can also be banked for larger loads and allows for internal zoning or multiple air handlers.
Linked to the Unico System, the luxury central heating and cooling system that uses small-duct, high velocity air movement for the best in near-silent, radiator-free indoor comfort, UniChiller really comes into its own.
